Card Guardian Consignment Terms & Conditions
Thank you for choosing Card Guardian to help sell your trading cards. We are committed to providing a professional, transparent, and hassle-free selling experience for our consignors. By consigning your items with us, you gain access to our network of collectors, buyers, and trusted marketplaces, maximizing the visibility and sale potential of your cards.
Please read the following terms and conditions carefully, as they outline the policies and procedures that govern our consignment process. By submitting items for consignment, you acknowledge and agree to be bound by these terms.
1. Payouts & Payment Terms
Payouts will be issued within 7 business days of the item being sold and payment being received from the buyer.
Payouts are calculated based on the final sale price after deducting all applicable platform fees (e.g., eBay fees), transaction fees, and shipping costs.
Payment will be made via agreed payment method e.g., bank transfer, PayPal.
2. Listing & Sales Channels
Card Guardian will list your items across multiple platforms, including our own website, eBay, and other trusted marketplaces, to maximize visibility and sales potential.
We reserve the right to adjust listing prices, formats (auction or fixed price), and descriptions to reflect current market trends and optimize the likelihood of a sale.
We offer fixed-price listings and Auction style listing. You can choose. Lower-value cards may be grouped into lots or not accepted for consignment.
3. Fees & Deductions

• Payout percentages are calculated after deducting platform fees and shipping costs.
4. Returns & Unsold Items
Items that remain unsold may be returned upon request. Return shipping costs will be charged to the consignor and deducted from any payouts or invoiced separately.
If a buyer returns a sold item and it is re-listed for sale, the consignor may be responsible for any difference between the original and final sale price.
5. Unpaid Items & Relisting
If a buyer fails to pay for an item, it will be relisted one week after the initial sale.
6. Prohibited Conduct
Bidding on your own items or engaging in shill bidding is strictly prohibited. Violating this policy may result in termination of your consignment privileges and possible legal action.
7. Item Acceptance
We accept graded cards from all reputable grading companies.
We only accept raw (ungraded) cards in Near Mint or better condition. Damaged, altered, or counterfeit cards may be rejected or listed at our discretion at a reduced price.
8. Liability
Card Guardian will take reasonable care to protect your items while in our possession; however, we are not liable for loss or damage caused by third-party platforms, shipping carriers, or circumstances beyond our control.
All items are shipped with appropriate insurance.
9. General Terms
By consigning with Card Guardian, you affirm that you are the legal owner of the items and have the right to sell them.
